Privacy policy

The Conjupi app has no account, and your learning progress never leaves your device. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which do make network requests; a paid Premium subscription, coming later, removes them. This website is a separate matter: it measures visits with Google Analytics, but only if you accept. This page explains all three.

Data the app stores on your device

To follow your learning, Conjupi keeps a few files in its private storage on your phone:

This data never leaves your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to read it. You can erase your progress and your favourites at any time in the app's settings; uninstalling the app deletes everything.

Advertising

The free version of Conjupi shows ads served by Google AdMob: a full-screen (interstitial) ad from time to time when you leave the results of a practice session, never during the questions themselves, and an optional rewarded video you may choose to watch to try one session of a Premium tense once a day. There are no banners. A Premium subscription, coming later with no price shown anywhere yet, removes every ad.

To serve, measure and cap ads, prevent fraud, and — only with your consent — personalise them, Google's advertising SDK makes network requests and may collect: your device's advertising identifier (on iOS, the IDFA, only if you allow tracking in the system prompt; on Android, the advertising ID, which you can reset or delete in your system settings), your IP address (and the coarse location it implies), information about your device and the app, and how you interact with ads. See Google's partner sites policy and privacy policy for details.

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent message (its User Messaging Platform, built on the IAB's Transparency & Consent Framework) asks before anything else; you can change your choice at any time in the app's Settings, under "Privacy options". On iOS, the system's "Allow tracking" prompt applies too: declining it means the IDFA is never accessed. Ads are limited to content rated PG, and sensitive categories, such as dating or gambling, are blocked.

What the app does not do

System features the app relies on

App stores

Conjupi is distributed through the App Store and Google Play, under Apple's and Google's own privacy policies. Through their developer consoles we only see aggregated, anonymous figures such as install counts, or crash statistics when you have chosen to share diagnostics with your phone's maker. They cannot identify you.

Children

Conjupi is a general-audience app, not directed at children under 13 (in the United States) or under 16 (in the EU). Ad requests are treated accordingly, following Google's own rules for age-appropriate ads.

This website

This site is static and hosted by Cloudflare, whose servers may process technical connection data (such as your IP address) in their logs to deliver and protect the site, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use these logs.

The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help learners. It is off by default: until you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit, no Google script is loaded and no cookie is set. If you accept, Google Analytics writes a cookie in your browser and sends Google the pages you open, your IP address and technical details about your browser and device, as described in Google's privacy policy. We only ever look at aggregated figures, never at anything that identifies you. Your answer is kept in your browser's local storage; clearing your browsing data brings the banner back.

We also use Google Search Console, which reports the search terms that lead to the site. Google aggregates them before we see them, so no individual visitor appears there.

Changes

If the app ever starts handling data differently, this page will be updated first and the date at the top will change.
