aller is the French verb for “to go”. It is an irregular verb. Its compound tenses, such as the passé composé, take the auxiliary être, and its participe passé is allé.
In the présent: je vais, tu vas, il/elle va, nous allons, vous allez, ils/elles vont.
With être, the participe passé agrees with the subject: add -e for a feminine subject, -s in the plural.
